Abstract:
In order to understand the influencing factors of reservoir resettlement satisfaction, from the individual perspective of immigrants, an evaluation system for immigrants satisfaction was established, with comprised five primary indicators, including Production Status, Living Conditions, Infrastructure, Development Assurance, Social Adaptation and seventeen secondary indicators. A field survey and questionnaire survey were conducted among 118 immigrant households in three counties of City A and B. Statistical mathematical methods were used to statistically analyze the questionnaire data and verify its validity and reliability. The results showed that the primary indicators of Development Assurance and Social Adaptation were in the range from dissatisfaction to general satisfaction. Further analysis of these second-level indicators indicated that Skill Training Status, Endowment Insurance Status, Satisfaction with Educational Expectations, Living Adaptation and Social Relationship Adaptation were the main factors leading to dissatisfaction among immigrants. The research findings can provide a references for policy-making on reservoir resettlement satisfaction.
